Cosmelan ® Depigmentation Peel
Cosmelan ® is a one off clinical treatment designed to address many types of pigmentation concerns including melasma by inducing a quick depigmentation action. It is suitable for all skin types including darker skins and can be performed all year round to even out, lighten, brighten skin tone as well as improving the texture of the skin and increasing luminosity.
The treatment is a 2 step program including 1 in clinic treatment and a home care maintenance program. The procedure works by decreasing the production of melanin from melanocytes (pigment producing cells in the skin) and inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme which produces melanin.
